Having led the life it would take mere mortals five lifetimes to live, Lewis Kalmbach is an artist in the truest sense of the word. As the company’s founder, he brings to the advertising community an unrivaled creative talent, strait out of left field. He passed these talents down to the current KSM team. His many talents include creative direction, copywriting, and audio/visual choreography.
Growing the agency from start-up in both the Shreveport and San Francisco markets, Lewis has made his mark across the nation and even into the international markets. Lewis is an accomplished artist with gallery representation in Louisiana, California, Georgia, Florida and Mexico. He focused his artistic talents in creating Artport, an art exposition at the Shreveport Regional Airport that has become one of the largest annual revolving art events in the South.
Lewis has played an active role in numerous non-profits such as the Philadelphia Center, PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support), Sister Margaret Christian Services, The Lighthouse, Teamworks, Northern California Leukemia Society, and the Artist Against AIDS. He has been the recipient of numerous Addy awards for creativity and the 1995 Rising Young Community Leader Award presented by the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. Lewis graduated in 1983 with Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Lewis continues to work in the marketing industry, specializing in healthcare literacy. He is also a busy dad, raising his son, Jasper, in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
