Cindy Smith is a testament to the fact that big things can come in small packages. As the left-brained leader in the group, Cindy balances the team with keen marketing and business acumen. She is responsible for day-to-day operations of the business, as well as account service and management, media planning and buying, public relations strategies and market research planning. She started with the company 19 years ago as Media Director and then as Vice President before purchasing the business in 2002, with Andy Meadows to form Kalmbach Smith Meadows. In 2010, Cindy bought majority ownership in the company and is now the sole owner of the operation.
Cindy’s experience includes profit and non-profit public relations / marketing / special events and video production. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications-Public Relations from Louisiana State University-Shreveport in 1992. Over the years, Cindy has served several organizations including North Louisiana Chapter of PRSA (Public Relations Society of America), SBAF (Shreveport-Bossier Advertising Federation), non-profit group Right to Play, Junior Achievement, board member of the Military Affairs Council, member of the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, Marketing Committee member of the Bossier Chamber of Commerce, elementary and high school PTSA member, and pre-school volunteer for the Simple Church.
Cindy also owns Artport, LLC, a 20+ year beautification project at Shreveport Regional Airport, and one of the largest revolving art shows in an United States airport. As if that weren’t enough, she with her husband, William, own HoneyBaked Ham & Café in Shreveport, and are parents to a 18-year old daughter, Abby, and 14-year old son, Harrison.
